In this story set in 2013, Mimi, a middle-class girl from a small town in
Rajasthan, is a dancer and dreams of going to Bollywood and
becoming a movie heroine. But one day a driver gets an offer of Rs 20 lakh
from Vanur (Pankaj Tripathi) where he has to be a surrogate mother.
He agrees. Then the foreign couple refuses to take the child before he is
born for a special reason. In this situation, what does Mimi do and who
gets next to her, etc.

Mimi Movie Review In Hindi

Kriti Sanon has had the most screen appearances and given the best
performance of her life – those tears of mother’s happiness at the moment
the newborn is born – a teardrop measured right from one eye – really
remarkable. However, inconsistencies are repeatedly found in the regional
pronunciation of the work. Evelyn Edwards is fascinated by the role
of a foreign wife – especially in beautiful Hindi. Fast boy
Pankaj Tripathi
has become the second in acting. He has also played his role well.
However, we are not accustomed to hearing the kind of intelligent dialogue
that we are accustomed to hearing from his mouth (the driver’s
responsibility is to get the rider to the final destination safely –
except for this dialogue). Poor photo writing courtesy.

Despite having such a strong supporting cast, melodrama was done with
them.

Mimi Movie Review IMDb

8.2/10

In many places, there have been many attempts to make people laugh in
Bollywood style but they did not get any laugh at all. I really expected a
lot from the beginning of the film but in the end, I got another Bollywood film glorifying motherhood. I tried to enjoy it again but in the end, I
didn’t feel comfortable.

I admit that there are details in the film (old notes have to be kept,
Ranbir Singh in Ramlila film – these are what the director has in mind). I
like photo editing. I liked only one of the songs composed by Rahman. I
didn’t like it very much.
Cast :

Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Pahwa, Supriya Pathak, Jaya
Bhattacharya, Sai Tamhankar, Evelyn Edwards
 & others.
Director – Laxman Utekar

Indian cinema is not yet mature enough to be a movie about surrogacy –
hopefully, in the future, we will get better movies on this subject
through Amit Masurkar. For entertainment purposes, you can only see Mimi,
for Shannon.
